The Story of Zinc

[Gotta Love ASTRO BOY]

Alright since IAAS is online I will post chapter 12
Chapter 12; Death (Zincs piont of veiw)

It was pitch dark and the only things that gave off light where the blood red flowers that were everywhere. Each flower told a story of one of my memories, in a poem. I had traveled through the flower field for days looking for the blue light. I needed that blue light. I knew it would be my way home, but I had giving up looking and sat in the field of flowers. I laid back and the flowers all tried to whisper their stories to me. I tried to tune it out and go to sleep, but they were in my head.
That’s when, I saw a bright blue light through my eyelids, but when I opened my eyes there was nothing there it was all in my imagination. I started to cry “Have they given up on me?” I thought. “I can’t be dead, because if I was dead wouldn’t I see a bright light? Is the light only for humans? Did I miss the bright light? Did I miss the blue light?” All these thoughts ran through my head. I lay in the flowers for days just thinking.
Suddenly, I saw a light over the horizon. A blue light! I ran as fast as I could towards the light, but by the time I got there, it was gone. The tears began to stream from my eyes again. I had missed it. I collapsed in the field. I had missed it! I plucked up one of the red flowers and held it to my ear.
“Soaring through the sky. Flying very high. Bronze sand glimmers. Blue water shimmers. You fly without a care. For life has brought you there.” The flower said.
I listened to its story over and over, each time just to remember the feelings I had. For only the feelings, the thoughts, and the memories could get me out of that hell hole. I hugged the flower to my chest and my eyes filled with tears. “I’m never going home, am I?” I fell to the ground in tears. I was laying and crying for what felt like centuries.
Suddenly, the whole sky lit up. It was blue! I stood and ran at great speed to the light. When I got there I had no idea what to do so I walked straight into the light. When, I opened my eyes and everything was fuzzy, but then my eyes zoomed out and I could see. I could see Astro, Zoran, and Dr.O’Shay. Then I noticed that behind them were Kennedy, Alajo, Abacromby, Kira, and Stefany.
I was finally home.
