Actually if you count that Astro Boy debuted in 1951, the 60th anniversary was last year. But as 1952 was the debut of the manga series starring Mighty Atom, then you are right, this is the 60th anniversary of TetsuWan Atomu.

Its so cool im havin a paaarrrrtay marothon of the 1960 1980 2003 and tha movie im also havin to sing all of his theme songs in japanese and english im also runnin around the neighborhood to remind everone what day it is and dressin up in Astroboy colors i already made an astro cake well cakes and uh im just a bussy buzzin bee

Let's not forget it is also Astro Girl's birthday as she was presented to Astro Boy as a gift from Dr. Elefun on his birthday. (At least in the original 1963 anime series.) So with that in mind, Happy Birthday Astro Boy and Astro Girl!

Hi guys . . . this is your friendly, neighborhood mod speaking . . . as F-Man noted we had quite a few birthday threads, so I've merged them all together into one thread that actually began last year, and will certainly make for easier seaching!

Now, on with the celebration! As this is not only my life-time hero's birthday, but my second anniversary as a member of ABO!

Better yet . . . I woke up today from a dream where I was reading a newspaper and was thrilled to find Astro Boy as a regular comic strip!!!
