What do you get if you mix Frankenstein and Steampunk, then use that as inspiration for a fan fic?

Btw, before I read and in case you missed it, I noticed that in the first chapter Urania calls him her "cousin"; when, in fact, if we apply human genealogy to this apparent relation, she would be his niece. A bit weird, though... unless I read it wrong?? I'm afraid I might have forgotten; and to think, when I began typing this I was so sure...

I'll double check that, she is the step daughter of her father. Atom is the son of her grandfather. You might be right, but the relationship between a human and a robot is imaginary anyway.
Now have you guessed who this Prince Raddar really is? (Have you read much Jules Verne?)
EDIT:
I guess the family relationship I created here makes the automaton Atom the Uncle of Urania, and she is his niece. I corrected that in the story. In my defense I'm no expert on these matters, especially trying to figure out what number level a cousin is and how many times removed one is, and crap like that.

Oh don't even bother asking ME about that; I have little to no knowledge of cousin levels, especially when it comes to this whole "removing" jazz.
Also, I think you made a mistake in Chapter 2; one of the dates reads wrong and says "1989".
I have not read any Jules Verne, I'm pretty sure. I do not know who that is, although the name is familiar. Depending, I'm probably not at all very likely to even want to read any of his work. Something tells me that it probably has to do with science fiction, a genre that I have yet to even touch when it comes to books. (In case you can't tell, I'm more of a high-fantasy type, which makes writing for this fandom kind of hard...)

Opps, that should have been 1889, seems I got the later year mentioned correct. Thanks for catching that!
Jules Verne may have been one of the first authors to write in the genre which would become science fiction, although they didn't call it that at the time, probably considered it to be fantasy. I think Hugo Gernsback was the person who invented the term 'science fiction', indeed the Hugo award for writers in the genre was named for him.
Anyway I can't believe you haven't heard of the story I lifted the character in question from, it's that famous. (Though the name I used is the rather obscure given name of the character who is better known under his self chosen alias). That will become clear in a future chapter....

I may or may not have heard of them, if they have portrayed and/or referenced in other forms of media.
Just because something is supposedly famous, doesn't mean everyone has heard of it, or even cares. Shakespeare is famous, and I've never read or seen a single thing by him. I don't appreciate your tone.
