Hi, guys! It's been awhile! I sort of got into a bunch of other things and then life happened, but recently I randomly got into kind of into an Astro mood, rewatched some episodes and now I'm pretty much back full swing! But enough about me, have some silly doodles (under spoilers because they're kind of big)~

I drew a 60s Astro-verse version of my friend's character as a gift. Normally she's an astronomer trying to prove aliens are real, but I realized trying to prove aliens are real in Astro Boy is like trying to prove water is wet.

I'd been thinking about that story where Uran gets into robotting and I was thinking she'd probably still be interested in it, at least enough to randomly try to wrestle her siblings for fun when they least expect it. (After all, the element of surprise is how you win. ) Though in general I like portraying a lot more rough and tumble Uran as a contrast to her brothers (and also because I was basically the same way as a kid hahaha--).

And I knew what I had to do...

Anyway, it feels good to be back, and I hope I can post some more doodles relatively soonish~

I'm currently contracting at Magic Leap, a high tech start up. If you turn their Logo-Mascot upside down, it looks sorta like Uran I think...
