Some DVD players can be hacked to do multi-region. I have an Oppo-video DVD player that is set to play all regions. All I had to do was enter a 'cheat code' via the remote control. (https://itstillworks.com/make-oppo-dvd- ... 80937.html) If you can find a used Oppo DVD player, you can set it to play any DVD.

The boxed sets might still be available from Amazon.co.jp All you need is a DVD drive on your laptop or pc that you can set to region #2.

I've checked the website, and it's still available, but I don't have a Japanese account or any money to pay for it. Besides, I'm only 15, and I don't think my mother will let me have one yet... And I don't even live in Japan either...

The robot in this picture looks quite similar to a robot from the 1980's version of Tetsujin-28/The New Adventures of Gigantor, though I don't know if he had a name.
