I BRIEFLY FLIPPED THROUGH BOTH ISSUES, JUST TO MAKE SURE ALL WAS o.k., offhand, I would guess only 4 to 6 pages. I need to look again.

iT STARTS ON PG 6, with the base under attack, the opening panel has Atom, laser rifle in hand, leaping into action. 5 panels on this page, no dialog. 1st panel on pg 7, alien says "baaoo" or something like it, but in Katakana. Oh, panels are numbered! Miyamoto Musashi (as #7) 1st appears in panel 18. Mephisto (as #1) on panel #19.

The dialog is large enough that I can read it without it being on screen. Hmm, maybe I will.

Anyway, I have no idea if this is where the story begins, but #1 - 6 have been ordered, and soon should arrive.

There was very little dialog in the April segment, & I just finished copying and using google to translate the 69 panels and the margin text.

kitano hideaki wrote/drew this. So much other stuff in this issue.

they ran a contest about I do not know what; details likely in earlier issue.

There are several pages titled MY MANGA, on which Tezuka writes about various titles and characters. This might be well worth translating.

yeah, kinda sucks that when the story is split into three parts. only so many pages appear in one issue. good incentive to subscribe to the magazine back then, but not so nice for collectors lol
